Obituary for Albert Charles (AC) Richardson

Albert Charles (AC) Richardson, 83 of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday December 7, 2019. AC was born February 21, 1936 to Robert and Dora Richardson in Elmore City, Oklahoma.

AC accepted Christ at an early age at Little Flock Baptist Church in Elmore City. He attended Bryant Elementary School and graduated from Tatum High in 1955.

AC (Pepaw) married his wife Sandra Richardson in 1990. AC worked at Wilson Tire for 25 years in Oklahoma City before residing in Amarillo. He moved to Amarillo in 1991, and begun working for Texas Tube and Tire until he retired. AC enjoyed fishing, grilling, and spending time with his family. AC was a very loving man and he will be remembered for his stories and love of his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brother, LC Richardson; sister, Lillie Mae Johnson and two sons Kenneth Moore Richardson and Anthony Terry.

AC (PePaw) is survived by his wife, Sandra Richardson of the home; son, Antonio Terry and wife Donita Terry of Amarillo; Active Son, Joe Graves of Amarillo; his daughters, Sharon Gass of Atlanta Georgia, Brezzley Richardson, LaTonya Glover, Active daughter, Lucilla Thompson, all of Amarillo Texas; sisters, Lela Harris, Delia Gowans and Emma Garetta all of Oklahoma City. AC had 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. AC has a host of nieces and nephews, (Uncle Perry) that will truly miss him.

Viewing will be held Friday, December 13th, 2019 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Lighthouse Funeral Home 4207 SW 21st Ave., Amarillo, TX 79106

Services will be held Saturday, December 14th, 2019 1:00 PM at
Hillside Christian Church Northwest Campus
609 Tascosa Rd, Amarillo, TX 79124
