Aldona “Dona” Williams Leedy was born to Bill and Carol Williams on February 28, 1959, in Denver, Colorado. She passed from this life on November 12, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Billy, and stepfather Jim Fiel.
Dona fiercely loved her family and multitudes of grafted family. Her no-nonsense approach, taking in strays, cooking for an army of loved ones, embarking on a “Why can’t we” project, uncovering Williams family history, her slow Texas drawl, and her easy laugh were adored by all who knew her. She gave the very best hugs and you never doubted her love and affection.
She loved children and had a special bond with any child she met. Dona’s love, her laughter, and her friendship will be missed by all.
She is survived by her husband Brent, with whom she enjoyed 30 years of love, understanding, and companionship; Daughter Holli and husband Nick Muniz and children Jacob, Clayton, Christian, and Nichole; Son Mikey and children Jolie, Lane, Dakota, Kiera, Cheyenne, and Adriel; Daughter Amber and husband Bobby Davis and children Cheyenne, Weston, Hayden, and Jordan; Daughter Heather and husband John Johnson and children January, Harley, and Autumn; Daughter-in-love Dana Green and daughter Tonya; Sister Robbyn and husband Kevin Hart and children; Kevin and wife Brittnie, Chauna and husband Chad, Jeremy, and Tiffany; Sister-in-love Brenda, son Aaron Williams and wife Audrey, and husband Tim Denbo; Great nephews and nieces Matthew, Keegan, Katelyn, Ashton, Kassidy, Kevin, and Aidan Hart; Chaden, Channing and Corlen Sullivan; Evey Hart; and Lennox, Jace and Kai Williams; A multitude of beloved cousins, friends, and her precious Aunt Jean.
Dona’s life celebration will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 1:00 pm at South Georgia Church of the Nazarene at 5016 Susan Drive in Amarillo.
