A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 10 am at St. Laurence Catholic Church in Amarillo, Texas for Antonio Mireles, 33, who passed away on Saturday evening, August 17, 2019 with his family at his side.
Visitation will be observed at Lighthouse Funeral Home on Friday, August 23, from 10am – 4pm. A Rosary will be recited from 5pm – 7pm at St. Laurence Catholic Church.
Interment will be in Llano Estacado Cemetery. Repast will be held at the funeral home immediately following the burial with a meal at the St. Laurence Catholic Church after. Father Hairder Quintero from St. Laurence Catholic Church in Amarillo, Texas will conduct the funeral services.
Survivors include his children, Lilyana and Antonio; his wife, April; his siblings, Sandra Heileman and Luis Mireles; his brother- in – law, Clint Heileman; his niece and nephew, Isabel and Logan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luis Palacios Bustos and Maria Teresa Mireles Cazares; his grandparents, Manuela de Jesus Cazares Castro, Jose Angel Contreras Hernandez, and Heriberto Mireles Zapata; his aunts, Rosa Garza Canales and Silvia Guadalupe Serna Hernandez; is uncles Jose Angel Contreras Cazares and Roule Mireles.
Antonio was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on December 28, 1985. He graduated from FederickDouglass High School. He was a longtime resident in the Fauborg-Marigay neighborhood until August 29, 2005 when Hurricane Katrice relocated him to Amarillo Texas.

A heartfelt appreciation is extended by Antonio’s family to all of the UMC Hospital Staff in Lubbock, TX. Special thanks to all family and friends who took time to visit him in the hospital; especially Jessica Rose.
