Obituary for Beverly Sue Sistrunk “Cotton Top”

Beverly Sue “Cotton Top” Sistrunk passed away from a Brain Aneurysm on December 16, 2019 in Amarillo Texas. Beverly was born on September 11, 1965 to Enda and Harry Lusk in Stanton Texas.

She resided in Amarillo Texas where she received her High School diploma and made a career of taking care of others as caregiver in the Home Health Care profession.

Beverly was a lover of all animals, especially her own dogs and cats. She loved to hang out with friends, be silly and take goofy pictures to be remembered by. Beverly was avid fan of all types of music. She collected Goofy memorabilia as well as elephants with a preference of the trunk up as a symbol of good luck.

Beverly is survived by her parents, Edna Mae Lutz and Harry Hans Lusk; 2 sisters, Deborah Ann Lusk and Barbara Gail Owen; a brother, Mark Anthony Lusk; nephew, DJ Derik Wilson Owen Jr; niece Audrey Rae Voyles and her children; 6 cousins, Michael Chambers, Tammy Chambers, Linda Brown, Diane Doyle and Johnny Chambers, Stefani Lusk; step-daughter, Valene and spouse CJ Fahrenthold along with their children; special friends Letty McGraw and Bob Collins among many other close friends and relatives.

Services will be held Saturday, December 21st, 2019 1:00 P.M. at Family Worship Center 11901 I-27, Amarillo, TX 79119

Everyone is encourages to bring a written memory to share with the family at the service.

  1. I remember when we all lived in Hale Center and rode are bikes all over the place, going to grandpa’s gas station, having family dinners, you will be truly missed
