Obituary for Cynthia Beevers

Cynthia “Cindy” “Cyn” Beevers was born January 19, 1962 at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock, Texas to Sammie Beevers & Laura Lightford Harrision.  An angel in flesh, now swept away by her wings in spirit on Friday, November 15, 2019 in Amarillo, TX.

She is preceded in death by loved ones including her father, Sammie Beevers; step-father, Charlie Harrison; brothers-Sammy and Jack Beevers; great grandparents, Lloyd “Bub” & Emma Beevers-Hazel Lillian Brown & William Jack Lightford.

She is survived by her mother, Laura Lightford Harrison of Amarillo, Texas; sister, Melinda Beevers of Lubbock, Texas; brother, Frank Beevers of Lubbock, Texas; her three children-daughter, Jennifer Ramirez of Denver, Colorado, son, Michael Ramirez and wife, Angelica and their 3 children of Canyon, Texas & daughter, Amanda Ramirez, her 3 children and 2 great grandchildren of Amarillo, Texas.

Cyn exuded the heart of a warrior with an infectious strength.  A devoted mother, daughter, sister & friend with a passion for life and her loved ones.   Family, friends, residents & devotion to Christ were her waking purpose. She dedicated many years of her work in long term health care. A joyful woman determined to stay positive in all of life’s endeavors, there wasn’t a day that passed she didn’t count her blessings.  Her strength, loyalty, companionship to all those she encountered was gift. The warmth of her hugs, laughter & helping hands will be missed dearly. May her soul always be as free as a bird.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the Amarillo Botanic Gardens Atrium located at 1400 Street Dr, Amarillo, Texas officiated by Pastor Bear of Full Armor Biker Church.

  1. Cindy, you will be missed. You were a very strong, opinionated woman who wasn’t willing to be walked on and always adored your kiddos. I know you are in heaven right now rejoicing with your Savior and your family who left before you. I’ll always smile when I think of you!
