Howard (Glenn) Drye died Sunday June 9 th at 62 years old. He was born in Friona, Texas on November 23, 1956.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Drye; his grandparents on his mother’s side, Mr. and Mrs. Price; his mom and dad Mrs. and Mr. Jack Drye of Hereford, Texas; lots of uncles and aunts from both sides.
He went school at Hereford, Texas. Then he joined the Navy as a firefighter, returned to Hereford where he worked at Holly Sugar. Then he moved to Amarillo and worked for Affiliated Food and then Tender Crust Bakery for 13 years. Then he worked different jobs over the road driving before returning to work for Gemini a sub division of Loves Country stores until he got sick.
He married Brenda Joyce Ford in Amarillo, Texas on September 14, 1983. He had two step daughters Rebecca Webb Burnam of Amarillo, Texas and Jennifer Leigh Webb Kirk of Little Elm, Texas and eight grandchildren.
He loved riding his Harley and cookouts, working in his yard and loved his wife a lot and his church where he will be laid to rest at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in the Columbarium.
