Isaac William Bowman passed away on October 28, 2018 in Amarillo, TX.
Services were held on Friday, November 2 at Church at Quail Creek in Amarillo.
Isaac was born on March 6, 1945. He was raised in Roy, N.M, and later moved to Tucumcari in 1955. He graduated from Tucumcari H.S. in 1963, and attended ENMU for 1.5 years prior to surrendering to the ministry at 17 years old. He worked for Coca Cola in Tucumcari and Coopers Market. He married Lois Ann Jernigan on April 9, 1966. Isaac pastored churches in Vaughn, NM, Loving, NM, Denver City, TX, Brownfield, TX Tucumcari, NM. He was the director of La Casa de la Hope Rescue Mission in Tucumcari. Moved to Clovis, NM in 2004 when Lois transferred with her job. Moved to Amarillo, TX May 2018 to be near brother, Willis and his wife, Marsha.
He is survived by his wife, sons Britton W. Bowman and wife Laura, Todd W. Bowman and wife Rosie, brother Willis W. Bowman and wife Marsha; 4 grandsons Trevor Bowman, Brayden Bowman, Justin Bowman, and Ashton Bowman. Many cousins and close friends.
Preceded in death by parents Willis W. Bowman and Vera Mae Cosslett Bowman, one son Patrick W. Bowman.
He loved collecting eagles, old bottles, Coca Cola memorabilia, caps, and avory bottles. Member of the Church of Quail Creek in Amarillo, TX.
