Obituary for Mary Lou Kayser

Mary Lou Kayser was born November 3, 1938 in Farmington, New Mexico. She passed away on January 31, 2020 in Amarillo, Texas after losing her battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

On March 1, 1958 Mary was married to Phil Kayser in Farmington, New Mexico. They then moved to Mountainair, New Mexico until 1993. Following New Mexico, they moved to Amarillo where they presided until their journey to heaven.

Mary devoted her life to being a wife and mother. She served her family as well as her Lord and Savior. She was a lifelong member of the Nazarene church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Phil Kayser, son Merle Kayser, four grandsons and one great grandson.

Mary was survived by daughters Barbara Brumley, Sharon Aikens, Rowena & husband Steve Sherman, son Bert & wife Judy Kayser. She also had 10 living grandchildren. Teyana Kayser-Hutchinson, Tania Kayser, Christy Reyes, Dane Chisholm, Tony Kayser, Bryan Kayser, Erik Fox, Joshua Fox, Kelsi Hargrove, Michael Sherman. She also had 15 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren included her little best friend Laylah!

Mary was loved and will be greatly missed. She has lots of love waiting in heaven.
