Obituary for Oscar Garcia Murillo

Oscar Garcia Murillo age 66 passed away Saturday, June 30 th 2019 at his home in Amarillo. He was born June 29 th 1953, in the small town of Floydada.

He later moved down to Amarillo where he worked for Heritage Nursing home for many years taking care of the elderly. He loved working for the nursing home and hosting/ playing bingo and many other activities.

Oscar was a big family man and all he ever talked about was his family and how much all his family meant to him. He always put everyone before himself and never hesitated when anyone called and asked for help. Oscar was a very chatty outgoing person, who loved to crack a joke here and there but he always made it easy for you to talk to him. He made such an impact on every single person he met along this life journey.

One thing we admire of Oscar was his love for the Lord, He was always praying over everyone and in ever situation that came his way he always said God’s Got It All Taken Care Of, Oscar loved going to church and listing to the word and worshiping to Jesus.
