Our beloved Willa Kay Chisholm, age 76, passed away on May 8, 2019 in Amarillo, Texas surrounded by her family and is now an angel in heaven.
Born in Mangum, Oklahoma on October 3, 1942, she was the daughter of the late William and Nola Herriage. She was also predeceased by her two husbands and three brothers.
We would like to extend a very special thank you to her sister, Nola Moore, who cared for Kay during her struggle with complications from diabetes, including kidney failure and gastropareses.
Kay’s family would also like to extend their thanks and appreciation to all the doctors and medical staff at Pampa Dialysis Center and BSA Hospice at Bivens.
Kay is survived by her daughters Deborah Donahue (and husband John) of Austin, Texas and Teresa Jones of Waco, Texas, two granddaughters Emily Donahue, and Megan Robinson. Her sister Nola Moore of Pampa, Texas and brother Clay Herriage (and wife Robin) of West Point, Texas. She also survived by numerous extended family members.
Kay worked for Chevron Oil Company for seventeen years. She also had many volunteer opportunities. She especially enjoyed volunteering for several years at the Baylor Scott & White hospital in Round Rock, Texas. Kay was known for her kind generosity to many of her family members along with her generosity to several Christian charitable causes.
She had a deep faith in God and was a member of Briarwood church in Pampa, Texas.
She was very talented creating art, craft and decoration projects. Kay’s memory and love will live on forever in the hearts of those that knew her.

A celebration of Kay’s life will be held by her family and friends at a later date.
