Eric Alexander Dominguez “Alex” passed away June 16, 2018. Services will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 411 South Omohundro Street, in White Deer.
Alex was born February 20, 1985 In Pampa, TX to Charles and Silvia Dominguez. Alex graduated from White Deer High School in 2003. He then studied anthropology at the University of North Texas in Denton, then transferred to the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago where he joined the Culinary Arts Program. Alex then moved to Mexico for a bit to spend time with family. He then returned to Amarillo in 2012. He pursued his career at Joe Daddy’s where he met his girlfriend Amber. For the last year he has been at Brickstreet 200 in Panhandle, TX as a Chef. There he made friends and those friends became family.
He is survived by his parents Charles and Silvia Dominguez of white Deer, by his girlfriend Amber Bray of Amarillo. His grandmother Juana Pena of Mexico. Aunts and Uncles Irene & Jesus Mireles of Amarillo, Yolanda, Claudia, Paulo Parra, Imelda Lorena all of Mexico. Arthur Dominguez of White Deer, Albert & Dow Dominguez of Rapid City SD, Grace & Richard Hudson of Pampa and Amy & Kelly Watson of Borger. Alex had many many cousins and great cousins who he loved dearly.
Alex was preceded in death by his grandparents Jesse & Mary Lou Dominguez of white Deer and Alberto Parra of Mexico.
Alex was a passionate and loving soul. He put his all into anything he did. He had an intelligent and bright mind. Alex loved his family and friends with all that he was. He will be forever missed.
