Franklin T. Herring

Franklin T Herring, 40, of Amarillo, passed away on July 5, 2021. He was born July 5, 1981 to James and Mary Helen (Anderson) Herring, Sr., in Canyon, Texas.

A Celebration of Frankie’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, July 9 at Amarillo Botanical Gardens,1400 Streit Dr, Amarillo, TX 79106.  Arrangements are under the care of Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation Services.

He was preceded in death by his parents and some family.

Franklin is survived by wife of the home, Stacie Herring; children, Terry, Franklin, Preston, Helena, and Peyton Herring many other adopted children; siblings, Barbara Brown, Teresa Martin, Robert and Brandy Herring, James Herring, Krystal and Justin Colon’, Floyd and Danielle Lawrence, Natasha Matlock, Dennis Matlock, Derrick Lawrence, Jonathan Lawrence, as well as many nieces and nephews that he dearly loved.

    I have had the pleasure of knowing and loving Frankie for about 7 years. I called him brother because he was family to me. I met him from his dear friend Kev who called him brother. I am very sorry for your loss Stacie (sissy) and the entire family. You have my sincere condolences. Please lets keep Frankie in our hearts and remember all the funny and good times.     I want to say that Frankie was a wonderful man husband and father. I know
    how much he loved Stacie and the kids and all his friends and people he
    cared about. Gone to soon my dear Brother. I am blessed to have known
    you and I will never forget you. Thank you for the talks the advise and
    laughter, Again Stacie (sissy) my deepest condolences to you and the family.
    I am thinking of you and praying for you. Its not going to be easy but we
    must keep faith and remember Frankie in our hearts. I love you all.

    Frankie was always there for all of us. He sure helped me with some of the greatest life advice. I sure will miss him. Love you Frankie and watch over us all.

    I’ve know Frankie since he was born but hadn’t seen for awhile not been in Amarillo but Frankie was a sweet person very loving towards his family and friends love you Frankie rest I peace remember you are loved by all love you kiddo

    I was one of the nieces. It was saddening finding out what happened i miss him very much. We had so many good memorys togethor and my parents do to. It saddens me to think ” Wow this is reality such a good man is actually gone ” only found out through Terry James Herring ( Tj herring ) Coming to our door saying his own father was gone.
