Stacy Ellen Mayer passed away September 18, 2021. She was born February 3, 1967 in Amarillo, Texas to Wilfidita and James Winn Sr.
A Celebration of Stacy’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Primera Iglesia Bautista Jerusalem, 1701 S. Houston St. in Amarillo.
She was the only girl of five siblings, Stacy was adventurous and always the life of the party. She loved to cook and anything with an angel would bring a smile to her face. In her spare time she loved to sit and read and enjoy a good cup of coffee. Stacy unconditionally loved her grandkids. She was their “Nene” and they were her world. She was extremely proud of the accomplishments of her kids and grandchildren. She was a kind and loving person and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father James Clinton Winn Sr., and granddaughter Briley Millsap.
Survivors include her partner Larry Mosby; the father of her children, Craig Mayer, her mother Wilfidita Winn; two sons, Cory and Kathy Winn, and Tray and Leticia Mayer, all of Amarillo; two daughters, Amanda and Elliott Watson of Atlanta, Georgia, and Tiffany Martin of Amarillo; her four brothers, Eres Winn, Jerry and Lois Winn, James Winn Jr., Bryan and Teresa Winn, all of Amarillor; grandchildren, Zoe Winn, C.J. Winn, Alizae Winn, Cinnamon Winn, Tanner Winn, Evan Mayer, Emerie Mayer, Elecia Mayer, Eli Haire, Levi Haire, Kendall Watson, Brianna Sneed, Brison Martin, and Justice Millsap. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
Stacie was always willing to help. And in her own way the life of any gathering, she will be missed by many and in the hearts of a host of others others, sleep on young queen, your journey is complete.
The one thing that stands out to me is just her dedication to her grandkids affectionally NENE
