Jacqueline Gaye Flynt, fondly known as Jacque, was born on October 12, 1941, in Dallas, Texas, and lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication. Her journey on this earth was graced by her inspiring persona, her funny anecdotes, and her loving nature. Jacqueline was a beacon of positive energy, impacting everyone she met with her radiant smile. A woman of many talents, she was crowned homecoming queen and sang in her high school choir, a testament to her captivating character.
Jacqueline’s professional life was marked by a successful career as an X-ray Technologist. She spent years as the supervisor of her department, dedicatedly serving the field of Medical Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging. Her commitment and passion for her work were evident in the care she provided her patients and the respect she earned from her colleagues. Jacqueline was not just a medical professional; she was a guiding light for those who needed it the most.
Despite her professional achievements, Jacqueline always prioritized her family. She was a doting mother to her daughters Chelle and Jan and son, Steve. She was also a proud “Nana Jac” to her two grandsons, Jordan Deer and Parker Flynt. Her love for her family was profound and unwavering. Jacqueline found immense joy in spending time with her children, whether it was fishing in the mountains or just enjoying a quiet evening at home. She treated her dogs as family members, caring for them with the same affection she showered on her loved ones.
Jacqueline’s love for life extended to her interests as well. She was an ardent sports enthusiast and a staunch Dallas Cowboy fan. Her spirit and enthusiasm were infectious, spreading a wave of positivity wherever she went.
She was preceded in death by her birth father, Harry Patterson, her mother, Cleone Fields and her father Sam Fields.
Jacqueline will be deeply missed by her daughters Chelle Flynt and Jan Flynt, her son Steve Flynt and wife Kim Flynt and her grandsons, Jordan Deer and Parker Flynt. Her sisters Rocky King, (husband Mike King), Norene Patterson and Elrene Mayfield.
Her life, marked by dedication, love, and inspiring deeds, will continue to shine on in the memories of those who knew and loved her. Jacque died peacefully on October 27th, 2024.

Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6969 E. Interstate 40, Amarillo, Texas.
I met Jacque when my mom when to babysit Jan for a few weeks. Four years later, when she started school, she got to retire. Jan, Chelle and Steve, she was a sweetheart and would meet up again in Amarillo with Jan and as an X-ray tech when I was nursing at the hospital. Prayers for all in the days to come.
A great friend.She loved every one and would help any one she would meet if they needed help. I will miss her laughter and her love .
Jacque and I worked together for many years. She was a wonderful person and a very knowledgeable and talented technologist. She loved her family dearly and her eyes beamed when she spoke of her young grandsons. Through Jacque’s stories of them they were known to us as“Science Guy “.and “Danger Boy’. I’m sure you can guess who’s who. My prayers are with you.
Jacque and I meet and worked together at HPBH Diagnostic Department. She was always so dependable and I made it might job to make her laugh each day. She had a contagious warm and wonderful laugh. She spoke of you kids often and she truly cherished each of you. I pray for peaceful days ahead for each of you, she was a great person.
