Gary Frank Garcia, age 55, passed away on July 20, 2025, in Amarillo, Texas. He was born October 24,1969 in Tucumcari, New Mexico.

He was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, and nephew. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to stream fish in the mountains with his family. He had a great sense of humor, and a uniquely contagious laugh that will forever be remembered.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco M. Garcia, Sr., Julia Garcia and Cathy Blea; his brother Francisco M. Garcia, Jr.; a Godfather Patricio M. Otero; his nephew Patrick E. Otero; his brother-in-law Kenny Virden; paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, as well as some uncles and aunts.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Lainee Garcia; his sisters Loraine Otero, Veronica Moore (Larry), Denise Moore (Rodney) and Julie Virden. He is also survived by his nephew Jacob Moore; nieces Francine Harper (Robbie), Brianna Sayles (Andy), Savannah Moore, and Harlee Virden; great nephews, Jaden and Jordan Harper, and Alex Bogue; great nieces, Monique Otero, Chasity Otero, and Ciara Otero; his special friends, Scott and Gretta Wooley, a loving neighbor Becky Griffin and numerous uncles and aunts.

Rosary will be recited on Tuesday July 29, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 306 W. High Street, Tucumcari, New Mexico, with Mass of the Resurrection to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Cameron Degani as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
