In loving memory of Carla Ann Benton, 55, who passed away on November 3, 2025, in Amarillo, Texas.  Carla was born on March 17, 1970, in Dimmitt, Texas, to Carl Hampton Benton Jr. and Floydelle Pannell.

She was a devoted mother, raising her beloved son, Taylor, in Amarillo. Carla took great pride in watching him thrive both academically and athletically, always cheering him on in his pursuits.  In 2015, Carla moved to Allen to be closer to her family, including her mother and her brother, Bruce, along with his family. Her loyalty and dedication to her loved ones were evident in everything she did.

A sweet and kind soul, Carla had a deep love for Jesus and a genuine desire to serve her neighbors and friends. She worked tirelessly to care for her mother during her declining health, demonstrating unwavering compassion and strength. Yet, nothing brought her more joy than Taylor, and her unconditional love for him always.

Carla is survived by her son, Taylor Trevino; her brother, Bruce Benton, and wife Whitney of Allen, Texas; and her cherished niece, Selah Benton of Tyler, and nephew, Davis Benton of Allen; many aunts uncles and cousins.

Carla’s family will forever remember her sweet and loving spirit.
