Roy Kyle Page, 67, went to Heaven on November 25, 2025, passing peacefully surrounded by his family.  A Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Funeral Home, 3707 Wolflin Ave., in Amarillo.

Kyle was born June 14, 1958, in Borger to Roy and Ethel Page. He grew up in Amarillo and graduated from Tascosa High School in 1977, where he played trumpet in the marching band before studying music at West Texas A&M University.

His career was diverse, spanning dinner theater and managing aquariums at Pier 1 Imports, where he developed a passion for aquatic life. He ultimately retired from the U.S. Post Office after 29 years of service.

A true outdoorsman, Kyle loved gardening, hiking in Palo Duro Canyon, beekeeping, and quiet nights spent watering his trees. He also enjoyed quality time with his family, Panhandle sunsets, woodworking, and finessing his stamp collection. Kyle had a heart for animals, which always seemed to gravitate to his gentle nature. He rescued many stray pets.

Kyle married the love of his life, Julie, on Feb. 8, 1997, and embraced her children as his own. He was a devout Christian who lived each day reflecting the joy of the Lord. Everyone who knew Kyle will remember him for his kind spirit, selfless character, and servant’s heart. His example will remain a guiding light for his family and friends.

Kyle was preceded in death by his father, Roy Page, and his mother, Ethel Varner. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Julie Page, of Amarillo; his kids, Joshua Nelson and wife Crystal of Amarillo, and Rachel Nelson of San Marcos; his dad, Darrell Varner of Amarillo; his brother, Kent Page and wife Linda of San Antonio; his sister, Kimberly Page-Wain and husband Jeff Trynosky of Amarillo; his granddaughters, Genevieve Presley and Mackenzie Nelson of Amarillo; his niece, Hilary Page-Stautzenberger and husband Arthur (as well as their children, Alexander and Benjamin) of Norway; his nephew, Mason Page and wife Kelsey of Fairbanks, Alaska; and many friends and in-laws who loved and treasured him.
