It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aaron Harper, a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, who left this world far too soon on March 22, 2026, at the age of 31. Born on February 15, 1995, in Amarillo, Texas, Aaron was a spirited individual whose life was defined by his passions and the love he shared with those around him.
Aaron was a man who found joy in the hum of an engine and the smell of oil and gasoline. His love for motorcycles and anything with a motor was not just a hobby but a way of life. Whether he was restoring a vintage bike or helping a friend with a tricky engine problem in the garage, Aaron’s eyes would light up with excitement and determination. His hands were rarely idle, always finding their purpose amidst the nuts, bolts, and grease that marked his chosen sanctuary.
Though Aaron’s father had passed, and his mother remains in hospital care, his family was the bedrock of his existence. He shared a profound bond with his friends, who stood by him through thick and thin. His aunts, uncles, and cousins also played a significant role in his life, offering support and love that he reciprocated with genuine warmth and gratitude.
Aaron’s kindness and generosity extended beyond his family. His circle of friends was a testament to his ability to forge deep and lasting relationships. He had an infectious laugh and a smile that could brighten even the darkest days. He was a man who valued loyalty and friendship, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a moment of laughter.
Aaron’s love for animals, particularly his loyal dogs, was a testament to his gentle spirit. They were his companions, sharing in his adventures and offering unconditional love and companionship. His home was always filled with their joyful presence, a testament to the warmth and care he extended to all living creatures.
As we remember Aaron, we celebrate a life that, while tragically cut short, was filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering passion for the things that brought him joy. His spirit will forever ride alongside the roar of a motorcycle engine, and his memory will continue to inspire all who knew him.
In honor of Aaron’s life and passions, the family invites friends and loved ones to join in celebrating his life. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026, at HIS Church, 6300 Arden Road, Amarillo, Texas, under the care of Lighthouse Funeral Home.
Aaron Harper will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May his soul find peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Aaron was one of my former students in middle school. He had a passion for life and a great smirk when he was up to something. He may have made decisions with other teachers sometimes that got him into some trouble. Yet, he was always so kind and respectful to me. I was/am a “unique teacher” maybe. During his time in MS I worked in reading. I hooked up a Kareoke machine and allowed the students to sing in the classroom. They had to read the words to songs they knew and didn’t know and sing too or at least try if they wanted to I never made them. Aaron LOVED TO VOLUNTEER and one “CD” had the song, ” Brown Eyed Girl” on it. I didn’t know the words nor did I ever remember hearing it but he absolutely loved singing it. Every “Fluency Friday” He sang it w that smirk and I probably have some pictures somewhere of him holding a microphone and seeing. I remember seeing him after he had become an adult and was so shocked he was so grown up. I didn’t realize I remembered that until I was typing this. He was in a truck outside United on 45th and hollered, “Ms. Davis!” He was so protective of Tyler who I believe was his older brother. He was a good kid or always was for me and seemed the one time I saw him as an adult a wonderful young man. He did leave the world to soon and he will be missed. It is suppossed to be teachers that make a difference in student’s lives but Aaron and so many others have made a difference in mine! I hope he sings in Heaven!!!
You Aaron Quinton Harper, you was one of a kind. If someone was having a bad day you would make them smile laugh and all the above. Your smile was very contagious. Your hugs were even better. You were amazing in each and every way. You were took to soon that’s for sure. I love you ❤️ heaven just needed another angel and in my opinion he got the best one. You were always so humble kind and sweet most of all goofy and a little bit crazy rest easy till we meet again.
