Aida Garcia Torres

Aida Garcia Torres 62, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020 in Hereford, Texas.

A celebration of life service for Aida will be held at 5 pm Friday, June 3rd, 2020 at Victory Family Worship Center in Hereford Texas.

Aida was born January 2, 1958, in Champion Ranch, Corpus Christi, to Pablo and Elmina Garcia. Aida truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures.

She adored her family and loved spending time with all of them and engaging in conversation. She loved doing crossword puzzles and playing the lottery (especially scratch offs) in her free time. Aida’s favorite color was pink. She loved roses, and statues of angels. She was a huge fan of Johnny Cash.

Aida had the ability to make anyone and everyone she came across smile. Her laugh and smile itself was contagious. She was a person of motivation, and she would encourage you to make the most out of yourself, your life, and wanted everyone to reach for the stars. She was there for anyone who needed her, and always gave a helping hand. Her heart was big, and she loved everyone.

She was proceeded in death by both of her parents, Pablo and Elmina Garcia; her daughters, Cynthia Torres and Tracy Torres; her sons, Timothy Torres; her grandchild, Josiah Martinez; her brothers, Esteban Garcia, and Robert Garcia; her sister, Flora Bates, and her nieces, Paula Holguin and Veronica Ruiz.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Christopher Salinas and wife Destiny, of Denison Texas, Georgina Garcia, of Hereford Texas, Toby Torres, of Hereford Texas, Anthony Torres and wife Crystal, of Hereford Texas; her sisters and brothers, Agnes Garcia, Ezekiel Garcia, and Elezar Garcia, of Hereford Texas, Rose Lawson and her husband Charles, of Lexington, Oklahoma, Valentina Allen and her husband John, of Yukon Oklahoma, Lupe Garcia and husband Robert, of Hart Texas, Paulita Ruiz,of Bishop, Texas and Grace Garcia, of Gainsville, Texas. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
