Alicia Garcia Lowry made her final transition the afternoon of July 12, 2024, after a bout with lung cancer. She was born December 20, 1962, in Levelland, Texas to Pedro and Ramona Garcia.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2024, at 1st Community Church in Dumas, 820, S. Bliss Ave. Interment will follow at the Dumas Cemetery, 6904 FM 722, Dumas, Texas.

Alicia loved country music and dancing. She enjoyed spending time with all her grandkids and great-grandkids. When she was able, Alicia enjoyed going shopping for antiques and garage sales with her grandkids. She had an eye for decorating and her home always felt like home to anyone who walked in.

She lived her life the best she knew how. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering. Alicia’s final thoughts were that she hoped that her three boys would always stay close.

Alicia is survived by her parents, Pedro and Ramona Garcia; her sons, Richard, Chris and Michael Nicholas; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; three brothers and 2 sisters. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
