Aracelia H. “Sally” Collazo

Aracelia H. “Sally” Collazo, 61, of Amarillo, passed away on August 5, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 21, 1958.

“Our Guardian Angel” was a woman of extreme strength, very hard-working, and she was beautiful. Now, she is at peace, and free as a dove. She was always dressed-to-impress! We all knew when she arrived, because we could smell her aroma from a mile away. She was very outspoken when it came to speaking her mind! We have truly learned the most from her strength as a wonderful mother and grandmother.

She was above all, passionate and proud of each and every one of her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Grandma may have gotten very sick near the end, but in our eyes, she never lost the strength that she always had. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate her life and find comfort that she is in heaven watching over us all.

“The unconditional love you had for each and every one of us will remain in our hearts now and forever. Our beautiful angel, as you enter your new heavenly home, may you rest in peace. That is what you truly deserve. We love you always and forever!!”

Sally was preceded in death by her mother, Valentina Nuncio; one daughter, Dory Christine Collazo, and the fathers of her children, Salistino Martinez and Doroteo Collazo Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Adrian Collazo (Susan); Tino Martinez (Courtni); Priscilla Luevano (Esteban); Veronica Hendrix (Samantha); Damian Martinez.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jaylon Ashley, Lexie Collazo, Nicholas Rodriquez, Janikah, Alexis, Audrey, Kailyn and Adrian Collazo, Jr., Isidro and Hydee Reyes, Julius Vigil, Izabella, Jaed, Imagin, Kaden and Joey Martinez, and many great-grandchildren.
