Remember going over and stealing all of grandpas smarties candy and he would laugh and try and hide them.

It’s hard to say ‘good-bye’ to so many of my aunts and uncles lately. I am so pleased I was able to visit with Uncle Archie a couple of weeks ago. Thank you, Donny and Angela, for having us over. Archie and dad were more than brothers, they were best friends and I have a lot of cool memories from my childhood to that fact. If they have C2 Corvettes in heaven, they’re both probably racing right now! God Speed Archie, you’ll be missed.

I remember going over to their house in Dumas with Donny ! Archie always had a project a pretty cool pickup or two and a great corvette! He was a great guy !

I worked with Archie at the refinery for about 25 years and always could depend on him if we needed work done after hours no matter what time day or night. He was a friend!

At work Archie was very witty with a dry humor as he could get a poke in before you realized he had gotten the best of you. Archie always took care of his crew doing some of the dirtiest jobs.

  7. Bill Palmer

Archie was a friend and my foreman on the job. If he liked you all was good. Rest in peace brother.
