Atlas Kush Garcia, born July 17, 2025, in Amarillo, Texas, was a beacon of courage and resilience from his very first day. Although his time with us was brief, his impact was profound. Atlas was never one to be defined by circumstance; he was a warrior, embodying strength and resilience that defied his tender age. His life, though fleeting, left an indelible mark on the hearts of his loved ones, and his spirit will forever remain an emblem of bravery and resilience. As Helen Keller once said, “Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.” Baby Atlas was the epitome of this overcoming spirit.

Atlas was the beloved son of Marta Dominguez and Nicholas Garcia, cherished brother to Arianna, Anecelia, Nicholas, Amilliano and Carlos. He was a precious addition to a family that adored him and anticipated his arrival with great joy. Atlas’ courageous spirit was a testament to the love and fortitude of his family. His presence, though ephemeral, was a vibrant thread woven into the fabric of their lives, a thread that will continue to shine brightly in their memories.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. this Friday at Trinity Fellowship Church, 503 E. Willow Creek Dr., Amarillo, Texas 79108.  Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery East.
