Benny Rubio, 44, of Amarillo passed away July 27, 2024.  He was born in Amarillo on May 14, 1980 to Audelio and Maria Salinas.

The family will receive visitors from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Lighthouse Funeral Home, 3707 Wolflin Ave., Amarillo.

A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2024, in the Lighthouse Funeral Home Chapel.

Benny was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys!  He loved playing video games with Jojo, playing football in the street with his brother and neighborhood kids.  Benny was the only one who could get his brother Juan to sit down and finish his homework!   He loved it when his mama would make him eggs, beans and chili.  Benny was loved and he will be missed very much.

He was preceded in death by his little brother, Jay Blue Rubio.

Left to cherish Benny’s memory are his mother, Maria Salinas, his father Audelio Salinas; his brothers, Jerry Rubio, Joe Anthony Rubio, and Juan Rubio Salinas; his aunt, Sally Estrada; uncles, Javier Rubio and Santos Rubio, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
