Bill Stovall

Billy David Stovall, 69, of Amarillo, went to be with his Lord and Savior January 31, 2023.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Church Alive, 1819 Canadian Street, Amarillo Texas. Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2023, at Lighthouse Funeral Chapel, 3707 Wolflin Ave., in Amarillo.

Bill was born May 31, 1953, to Jim and Dorothy Stovall in Amarillo Texas. He married Elizabeth Motley, and they were married for 52 years. Together they had four kids, 22 grandkids, and 12 great-grandkids that he loved very much.

Bill’s hobbies included going to casinos, playing bingo, showing off his hot rod every chance he got, and accompanying Liz and her bowling team no matter if it was just to eat or go out of town. Bill was a jack of all trades, master of all, and there wasn’t anything he couldn’t do. As everyone knows the word “no” was not in his vocabulary, he was always willing to help anyone in need. Not only was Bill a member of Church Alive, but he was also their handyman. Bill was so loved and will be missed by many.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Dorothy Stovall; brothers Tubby Stovall, Curtis Stovall, Henry Stovall, Jessie Stovall, and Tommy Stovall, and his sisters Dottie Stovall, Elsie Stovall and Ann Moore.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Elizabeth of the home; siblings Mitchell Stovall and wife Carla of Eagletown OK, William Stovall of Duncan Ok, Eddie Stovall and wife Karla of Amarillo Tx, Tessie Fay Leonard of Amarillo Tx, Rusty Roush of Eagletown Ok, Cissy Hinojosa of Fort Worth Tx, and Pete Stovall of Ok.; his children, Stephanie Blankinship and husband Doug, Billy Stovall Jr. and wife Melissa, Wendy Holman and husband Bobby, and Tommy Stovall and wife Crystal; his grandkids include Brandon Blankinship, Brittany Harris and husband Grant, Calvin Allen and wife Berkley, Harley Blankinship, Haleigh Stovall, Makayla Stovall, Kayden Stovall, Nathan Brown, Baily Witt, Cierra Fuller and fiancé Gerard, Andy Fuller and wife Vanessa, Shadyn Fuller, Blaze Fuller, Brylan Holman, Vaughnessia Holman, Alayla Holman, Amia Holman, Alanna Holman, Bobby Holman Jr., Zoe Stovall,

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials to be made to Harrington Cancer Center.
