Bobby Ray Priest, 70, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on December 3, 2025. He was born on June 2, 1955, to Charles Priest and Lucille Wright.
Bobby had many hobbies; he loved boating and riding motorcycles, often exploring trails at the river with family and friends. During his free time, he enjoyed tinkering in his garage and building various hot rods, as well as helping family and friends with different projects. He also loved spending time with his beloved dog “Girl”.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lucille, and a brother, Gary Priest.
He is survived by his brother Billy Priest and wife Jan of Amarillo; sisters, Pat Morris of Sanford, and Linda Spaulding of Texarkana; sons, Andy Priest and Trella, Jay Priest and Haydee; daughter, Elaine Baker and James; grandchildren, Tyler and Leandra Burton of Amarillo, Mason Burton of Clovis, Alex and Brent Trahan of Clyde, Cameron Priest of Amarillo, Annabelle Priest of Amarillo, Tyler Priest and Darcie Priest of Kentucky, Amelia and Gordon Cassidy; 6 great-grandchildren as well as his beloved dogs, “Girl” and “George”.
A viewing will be held in the Lighthouse Funeral Home Chapel located at 3707 Wolflin Avenue, Amarillo, Texas, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025. Memorial Services will be held the following day, December 6, in the Lighthouse Chapel.
