Carian Sue Carter, 75, of Amarillo, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on May 31, 1949, to James and Eva Cox.

A Memorial Service celebrating Carian’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Lighthouse Funeral Home, 3707 Wolflin Ave.

Carian was a kind soul who cared deeply for her family and friends. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was the caregiver of the family and will be deeply missed. Carian truly enjoyed spending her time with family. Carian and her sister would spend hours preparing meals for the holiday for all of the family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Eva Cox.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Roger Carter; her sister, Beverly Willson; her children, Johnny Moon, Scott Moon, Carrie Moon and Kelly Moon and many more grandchildren and extended family.
