Carol (Zankl) Delgato, 83, of Williamsville, New York, and more recently, of Canyon, Texas, entered into rest on August 19, 2024.

Carol was an avid disco dancer in the 1980’s.  In the 1990’s, she also enjoyed creating numerous ceramic pieces of art that her family still treasures.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Marjorie Zankl.

Carol was the beloved mother of Kathy Tripi and husband Joseph, Sharon Pignataro, and husband Charles, and Debra Delgato; cherished grandmother of Kristin, Kevin, and Anna Tripi, and Michael, Justin, Sierra, Holden, and Gavin Pignataro; dear sister of Wayne Zankl, and his late wife, Deborah.  She is also survived by a niece and several nephews.

Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga, New York.  A Memorial Service will be held in Buffalo, New York October 26 at 11:00 am near the Clocktower.

A small memorial will be here in Amarillo at 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 30, 2024, at West Texas Wellness Center 1934 Civic Circle.
