Charles Daniel Olazaba was born on November 7, 1962, in Amarillo Texas to Guillermo Olazaba and Agripina Andrada. He passed away on September 20, 2025. 

There will be a balloon release at 5:00 p.m. on October 20, 2025, at Medi-Park by the Botanical Gardens.  A Celebration of Life brunch will be held at 2:00 p.m. on his birthday November 7, 2025, at R&R Events, 608 N. Mirror St., Amarillo, Texas, 79107.  A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., this Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1210 SE Eleventh St., Amarillo, Texas.

Charles served in the Army for three years. After that, he worked for the City of Amarillo for seven years. He enjoyed fishing, BBQing, football, antique shopping, and watching the jets show at the airport. He loved to help others, loved his animals, which included cats, dogs, and ducks. Charles was a very outgoing person and definitely loved dining out.  Family gatherings were always his favorite place to be. He would be at your door with coffee and donuts. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guillermo Olazaba, Agripina Andrada.  Survivors include his brothers, Jerry Olazaba, Steve Denis, and Robert A. Olazaba, his caretaker and cousin Matthew “Ray” Andrada.
