Con Wellington Jackson, Jr.

Con Wellington Jackson, Jr., lovingly known to us as “Con” passed away August 17, 2023, with loved ones by his side.
Con was born March 18, 1957, in Las Vegas, New Mexico, to Con Jackson, Sr. and Violet Marie Roberts Jackson.  He made his home in Amarillo, Texas. He spent his life building not only structures as a construction worker in residential and commercial sectors but also building a legacy of hard work and dedication. Con was a man who believed in the power of labor and the beauty of creation. His passion for constructing and creating was not confined to his profession. It permeated every aspect of his life, making him a pillar of strength and resilience to those around him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Con Jackson, Sr.; his mother Violet Jackson; a sister, Donna Benites; his niece Tara Johnson, and his nephew, Dominic Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Kim M. Jackson; his daughters, Joelda M. best and husband Chad, Casey J. Jackson ad Destiney R. Jackson; sons, Con W. Jackson, IV, Tyler W. Jackson, and Joshua C. Jackson; a brother, Bill J. Jackson and wife Wendy; a sister, Serlda Johnson; and grandchildren, Preston, Ryan, Aspen, Amber, Kylee, Skylynn, Santiago, Jr., Audrina, Uriah, Makenzie, and Mena.

    Con was a great brother-in-law and much more than that a dear friend. I will never forget the wonderful and fun times we shared. I was really saddened by the news of his passing, it’s still hard to believe. Rest in peace my dear friend and brother.
    My condolences goes out to his wonderful family.

    Con was a sweet sweet person! He loved his family more than anyone knows. He loved life and would help anyone out when needed! He was a family man! He loved his children, nephews and nieces! And loved his brother and sisters! He now is with Jesus! Pain free watching over his children! Con Rest In Peace!
