With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Cruz Louis “C.L.” Castellon, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, wa-wa, and friend, who left us on July 7, 2023. Born to the late Manuel and Maria Castellon on May 3, 1942, in Center Creek Township, MN.

Rosary Service is scheduled for 1:30 pm Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Happy, Texas. Funeral mass will follow the rosary at 2 pm.

For over 40 years, he resided in Happy, Texas, where he found joy in his work at the Randall County Feedyard. He married the love of his life, Maria Urias, on July 8, 1960. Their loving union was blessed with five children: David Castellon, Fanny Castellon, Patsy Crabtree, Christina Diller, and the late Irene Mings. He was also a beloved brother to Pascual Castellon and Linda Cisneros. His life was enriched by his sons-in-law, Charles Mings, Corey Crabtree, and Philip Diller. He has one daughter-in-law Emma Castellon. He had 6 grandchildren, David Castellon Jr., Annamarie Watson, Joshua Louis Castellon, Timothy Mings, Bella Mings, Joshua John Mings, and Cataleya Diller. He also had two great-grandchildren Averee Watson, and Leighton Castellon.

Louis was preceded in death by his brothers Manuel Castellon Jr., James Castellon, Valeriano Castellon, Jose Castellon, and his sister Rosa Castellon.
