Dave pursued an education in electrical engineering before working in Information Technologies most of his life while dabbling in accounting, finance, and human resources. Dave loved more than information technologies, as he enjoyed being the first to have new cars, TVs, sound systems, and media. He also loved listening to music, playing piano, and watching movies.
Dave was a social butterfly and often the life of the party. Jokes, goofy faces, light-hearted humor, and the occasional Donald Duck impersonation solidified his friendships. Dave was kind and polite, a good listener, a shoulder to cry on, a source of inspiration, and a strong leader. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he found opportunities to serve his neighbors in a variety of capacities including counseling, teaching, and even helping people move.
Dave passed away on August 27, 2023, after beating multiple myeloma, but succumbing to the complications of 3 long years of treatments. He passed peacefully surrounded by family.
He is survived by his wife Carol, his children Robert, Jason, and Matthew with their respective wives Lea Ann, Morgan, and Sarah, his brother Dick, and sisters Jeannine and Kathy. He has 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He also has a long list of people who looked up to him like a father, a history of pets, and an allergy to cats.
