David Lester Campbell, 80, of Amarillo, passed away on October 6, 2021.  He was born January 31, 1941, in Amarillo, to John David and Mary Elaine (Tyron) Campbell.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the personal care of Lighthouse Funeral and Cremation Services.

David and his father owned and operated P&C Office Machines, where they sold and repaired typewriters, for many years.  Later, David dealt in real estate.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son David Allen Campbell.

Those left to cherish his memory are his granddaughters, Kaitlynn Green and husband Moss, of Lubbock, and Alyssa Campbell of Amarillo; his dear friend of over 20 years, Craig “Bear” Thomas, and a sister, Mary Ratliff, of Amarillo.
