Deborah Lynn Norman, known affectionately to friends and family as Debbie, was born on February 26, 1959, in Chicago, IL, and passed away on June 19, 2023. Deborah was a loving, loyal, supportive, and generous soul who touched the lives of many with her vibrant spirit. As Maya Angelou once said, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Deborah’s warmth and kindness will be remembered by all those who had the good fortune to know her.

Debbie resided in Amarillo, Texas, where she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at the Amarillo Nursing Center for over a decade. Her dedication to her patients and colleagues was truly inspiring, and she was well-loved by everyone she encountered. When not working, Deborah found solace in fishing, planting flowers, and playing with her beloved dogs. Her children and pets were the center of her world, and her love knew no bounds. Deborah is survived by her children, Jason King, Daniel Norman, Kristenna Maxey, and her son-in-law, Terrance Maxey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Syble King.
