With heavy hearts we announce our beloved Donoto “Danny” Litchfield left us on January 12, 2025. His wife Malisa and son Danny were with him at the time of his passing. He will be missed by family and friends. Danny never met a stranger. He could talk to people for hours. He had many longtime friends, including Leslie Norton. They grew up together and stayed in touch their whole lives.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Funeral Home, 3707 Wolflin Ave.  A Funeral Service honoring Danny’s life will be held at the same location on Friday, January 24, at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery East.

His passion for music was deep. He almost always had headphones on, listening to music. He loved being a part of his brother-in-law Daniel Holland’s band. Danny had many hobbies and interests. A favorite was making unique canes out of wood. His favorite companion was his dog Blue. They were together until the end.

Danny was an excellent chef and later became a professional welder and painter. He could work on and fix anything until his body wouldn’t allow it anymore. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He would tell silly jokes and laugh so hard at them. It was one of our favorite things about him.

From the way he talked to the way he dressed, Danny considered himself a true Texan.

Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Correa. He is survived by his wife Malisa, his son Danny; his father, George Litchfield and many grandchildren.
