It has been a few years since I last spoke to Doug. Unfortunately as time goes by friends can take different roads and eventually lose touch. Even so, hearing the news of Doug’s passing really saddens me. I remember from the first time I met him he treated me like a life long friend. I admired his upbeat personality and the way he would make me laugh. Wish I had stayed in touch with him more. I feel privileged to have gotten to at least spend the time I did with him. Prayers to his family.
