With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Eduardo Martinez, who departed this life on April 6, 2025, in Amarillo, Texas, at the age of 54.

Born on September 1, 1970, in Ojinaga, Mexico, Eduardo brought warmth, strength, and quiet joy into every room he entered. He was a loving husband to Monica Martinez, a proud father to Kayla Ramirez and Morgan Craddock, and a caring father-in-law to Bryan Ramirez and Jussten Craddock. His greatest pride and joy, though, was his growing family of grandchildren: Xzavian, Gianna, and Bentley Ramirez, and Averie, Wyatt, and Jaxon Craddock.

Eduardo had a heart that belonged to his family. He cherished every moment spent with them—whether that meant sitting around the table sharing stories, laughing with his grandkids, or capturing life’s beautiful, simple moments through his camera lens. He also had a deep love for music and could often be found singing with a smile, sharing his joy and voice with those around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eduardo Martinez Sr. and Catalina Martinez Bueno.

Survivors include his wife, Monica Martinez; daughters Kayla Ramirez and Morgan Craddock; sons-in-law Bryan Ramirez and Jussten Craddock; grandchildren Xzavian, Gianna, and Bentley Ramirez, and Averie, Wyatt, and Jaxon Craddock. He is also survived by his siblings Hector Bueno, Hilda Martinez, Marisela Martinez, Silvia Martinez, Julia Hernandez, and Daniel Martinez.

His legacy is one of kindness, dedication, and quiet strength. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing Eduardo’s love will forever live on in those who were lucky enough to know him.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Lighthouse Funeral Home, located at 3707 Wolflin Ave, Amarillo, TX 79102.  A Memorial Service to honor Eduardo’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Lighthouse Funeral Home,
