Mr. Morakot Vansouphet, “Edward,” 73 of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. He was born on August 4, 1951. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Vansouphet. He has five brothers and two sisters.
He served in the Laos Air Force, and he came to the US in 1975. He loved sports and spending time with friends and family. Since coming to the US, he worked at Tyson, formally known as IBP for 41 years as a supervisor.
Mr. Vansouphet is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mrs. Manisom Vansouphet, four children, two boys, and two girls. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
He leaves behind great memories shared with his friends and family that they will cherish forever.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Lighthouse Funeral Home, 3707 Wolflin Ave., Amarillo, Texas.
