We honor the life of Elisa Rodriguez, born on October 14, 1972, in Mexico, and now residing in our hearts forever. Elisa, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, was a beacon of strength and dedication, illuminating the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. She was a smart woman, insightful in every sense, and she wielded her intelligence to guide her family and loved ones. Thoughtful in her actions, Elisa always put the needs and well-being of her family first, embodying the scripture, “Above all, let your love for one another be intense, because love covers a multitude of sins.” (1 Peter 4:8)

Elisa’s love story began on July 18, 1998, when she married her soulmate, Julio Rodriguez. Their love and commitment to each other was the cornerstone of their family, inspiring their children, Sophia Kiser (Johnny) and Bryan Rodriguez (Brittany). Elisa’s loving nature flowed through her family, touching her son-in-law, Johnny Jr., and daughter-in-law, Brittany Rodriguez. She was also the proud grandmother to Emmett Kiser. Her love extended to her mother, Elisa Loya, and her siblings, Manuela Tarango (Miguel), Rosa Loya, Elvira Chavez, Marin Loya, and Gerardo Loya.

In the face of life’s hardships, Elisa was a stronghold of resilience. She was a woman of deep faith, finding solace in the Catholic verse, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9). Her strength never wavered, even as she mourned the loss of her father, Marin Loya, her brother, Luis Loya, and her beloved grandson, Noah Kiser.

Elisa, una esposa, madre y abuela amorosa, fue un faro de fuerza y dedicación, iluminando la vida de quienes tuvieron la fortuna de conocerla. Era una mujer inteligente, perspicaz en todos los sentidos, y utilizó su inteligencia para guiar a su familia y seres queridos. Reflexiva en sus acciones, Elisa siempre puso las necesidades y el bienestar de su familia en primer lugar, encarnando la escritura: “Sobre todo, tened un amor intenso los unos por los otros, porque el amor cubre multitud de pecados.” (1 Pedro 4:8)

La historia de amor de Elisa comenzó el 18 de julio de 1998, cuando se casó con su alma gemela, Julio Rodríguez. Su amor y compromiso mutuo fueron la piedra angular de su familia, inspirando a sus hijos, Sophia Kiser (Johnny) y Bryan Rodríguez (Brittany). La naturaleza cariñosa de Elisa fluía a través de su familia, tocando a su yerno, Johnny Jr., y a su nuera, Brittany Rodríguez. También fue la orgullosa abuela de Emmett Kiser. Su amor se extendía a su madre, Elisa Loya, y a sus hermanos, Manuela Tarango (Miguel), Rosa Loya, Elvira Chávez, Marin Loya y Gerardo Loya.

Frente a las dificultades de la vida, Elisa era un baluarte de resiliencia. Era una mujer de profunda fe, encontrando consuelo en el versículo católico: “Sé fuerte y valiente. No tengas miedo; no te desanimes, porque el Señor tu Dios estará contigo dondequiera que vayas.” (Josué 1:9). Su fortaleza nunca flaqueó, incluso mientras lamentaba la pérdida de su padre, Marin Loya, su hermano, Luis Loya, y su querido nieto, Noah Kiser.
