Elizabeth, known to most of us as Lizzie at the young age of 28, much quicker than expected and much too soon for all who knew her, passed away Monday December 18, 2023, after a very short bout with cancer.
The family and friends will gather to celebrate Lizzie’s life at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2023, at the Arena of Life Church with Pastor Travis Bennett officiating.
Elizabeth along with her twin sister Rebekah entered this world April 28, 1995. She had an amazing talent for art and loved drawing. She was able and willing to draw anything she was asked to draw. She was loved by her little cousins because she was always the “fun” one who would play and horse around with them, ride 4-wheelers, and was always ready to head to the beach. Her motto was always, “who cares about work? Let’s have some fun!” Unfortunately, she was never blessed with kids of her own, so she poured her heart into those around her. She loved Stitch, from Lilo and Stitch, and lived by “Ohana.”
Ohana means family and family means nobody is left behind or forgotten. Blood or not if you were part of her “family” you were truly blessed.
At the end of every conversation, whether on the phone or in person, it would be a race to see who said it first….” LOVE YOU, BYE!” …. She may have said it first, but we will say it last… Lizzie you will be truly missed.
Until we see you again…. LOVE YOU, BYE!
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Burnice and Edith Massey, Olon and Estelle Danner, her grandparents LeRoy and Sandra Smith, and her sister, Holly Hargrove.
Lizzie is survived by her parents, Deneise and Don Fritz; siblings, Sean Hargrove, Nikki Johnson and husband Caleb, and twin sister Rebekah Hargrove all of Amarillo; grandparents, Larry Danner of Alabama, and Janice Baughner and husband Robert of Amarillo; aunts Gloria Diehl, Sheila Grant and husband Trent, and her uncle, Alan Danner; nieces Jada Pena, Aaliyah Merrell, and Gannon; nephew Travin Britt, as well as numerous cousins.
