Ervay “Rudy” Forrest Oliver LaGrone walked out of this world to be welcomed by Kelli Rae, his wife of 44 years, at the age of 65. Rudy was born in Big Springs, TX on July 14, 1955, to Sweetie “Ruth” Jones and Henery LaGrone.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Kelli Rae LaGrone, his mother Ruth Jones and stepfather Buddy Jones; father Henery Lagrone, and brother Larry Jones.
Rudy leaves behind four children. son, Casey VanWinkle and wife Laura; daughter Misty Connell and Kyle from Ingram, TX; son Forrest LaGrone and wife Linda of Mineral Wells, TX; and daughter Dusty Tinsley and husband Jeff of Harper, TX; sister Stella Owens; daughter Becky Forsyth; 1 niece and 2 nephews, and longtime life partner Jaine “Sissy” Mayers. 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, all shared with wife Kelli Rae and partner Sissy.
Rudy lived his life in the fast lane, hauling bulls. Not just a trade, but it was a passion in life. He started driving a truck at 14, and he was darn good at it.
His love for his children will live on forever! He was a loving father and friend. He only had a short time on this earth, but he sure didn’t waste any of it. He lived hard and loved harder. He will be missed so much by all who loved him!
Graveside service will be held Saturday, October 17th, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at East Greenwood Cemetery, 500 Front Street, Weatherford, TX

We spent a lot of miles 😭 with him, and I love my dad very much, and I miss him like no other. Then my mom loved him, and I miss them both very badly, and I wish they were both here, I miss both of them.
