Ethan Kai Deleon, born on December 18, 2006, in Amarillo, Texas, lived an extraordinary life that was cut short on the 22nd of April, 2025. His 18 years on this earth were saturated with charisma, compassion, and courage that touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Ethan, the creative force he was, had a gift for transforming ordinary moments into memorable experiences through his love for music and dance. A natural performer, he was a budding rapper who enjoyed listening to rap music and sharing his creative works with family and friends.

He was a compassionate soul who put others before himself, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Ethan was known for his energetic, selfless, charming, and loyal nature, traits that were evident in his involvement with the ROTC and his dedication to his studies, which landed him on the Dean’s List.

Ethan’s love for his family was deep-rooted and encompassed the essence of who he was as a person. He was a vibrant, smart, funny, and down-to-earth individual who cherished time spent with his loved ones, whether it was playing Call of Duty or simply enjoying each other’s company.

Ethan’s love and loyalty were not confined to his friends and schoolmates; he held his family dear to his heart. He is survived by his mother, Monica Garcia, who raised him in the very home she herself was raised in. He is also survived by his beloved brother, Dominic Deleon; his aunt, Jennifer Garcia; his grandparents, Irene Salazar and Rey Garcia; uncles Rey and Dominic Garcia, and a host of cousins and friends who will never forget Ethan.

The visitation will be held at Lighthouse Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 3707 Wolflin Ave, Amarillo, Texas, 79102, on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 1:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Cornerstone Outreach Ministry, located at 1111 North Buchanan Street, Amarillo, Texas, 79107, on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery East, 34th & Arthur Street, Amarillo, Texas, at 2:30pm CDT.
