Glenn “Alan” Baber Jr., age 47, born September 29, 1977, of Amarillo, Texas, formerly of Dayton, Ohio passed away February 22, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Alan served his country with honor in the U.S. Army Reserve for 6 years where he gained his CDL before being honorably discharged in 2002. He continued to use his CDL in his civilian life working for Coca-Cola for 10 years before becoming a shuttle driver for Ben-E-Keith. Anyone who knew Alan knew that he was always quick with a joke, a wise crack or keen observation. His playful teasing of others or taking a good ribbing himself, one could always count on him to keep you smiling or laughing no matter the situation.
Alan is Survived by his parents Glenn Baber Sr. Of Ohio, Kathy (Jerry) and Frazier of Ohio. He leaves behind his loving wife Lisa of 13 years; His children Zackary, Kailey, Joseph (Alexia) Nicholas, Hannah and David; two grandchildren Evelyn and Jaythan; siblings, Julia (Marc), Cheri (Brandon), David (Jeanette), Chris (Rebecca), Ashleigh (Charlie) and Michael (Paige), along with many other family members that include his beloved fur children Febec, Odin, Dozer and Skipper.
Although Alan is gone at such a young age, his death leaves a major heartache that only time shall heal. Our memories will be held dear and be treasured deeply in our hearts. He will never be forgotten and will always be loved.
