Gloria Jean “Gogo” Stone, 64, of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. She was born in Würzburg, Germany on November 15, 1960, to Glyndon and Eloise Collins.

Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Vida Church, 500 Southwest 8th Ave., Amarillo, under the direction of Lighthouse Funeral Home.

Gloria had many hobbies, including spending time with her family, and praising/worshipping Jesus. She loved dancing, cooking, Christmas, drinking her lemon berry slushies, and coffee. Gloria also enjoyed reading her Bible. Although she had many trials and tribulations, she smiled through it all. As she would always say, “Jesus loves me, and He will never leave me nor forsake me!”

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Eloise and Glyndon Collins; her significant other, Terry Blankenship; her brother, Glynn Collins and her son-in-law, Leon Holiwell, Jr.

Her memory will live on through the father of her oldest children and long-time friend, Roger Stone; her sister, Cindy Collins; her 9 children, Brandi Holiwell, Amber and Troy Hoover, Cassey Stone, Seanna Hampton, Whitney Hampton, Jodi and Nathan Green, Cody Hampton, Tyler Blankenship and Hannah Parker; two stepchildren, Melissa Blankenship and Ty Blankenship along with 26 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
