Gloria Sharron Henson passed away on January 20, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on March 23, 1954, in Gadsden, Alabama, to parents Bertha Arlene Vaughn and Robert Vaughn, the second-oldest of their family of six.

Sharron became a mother in 1971, giving birth to her daughter, Melinda, and in 1973 to her son, John. She loved both dearly and did her best to support them through hardships.
Sharron married Noah Jerry Henson in 1991, whom she cherished until his passing.

She cared for her mom until her mom passed, then moved to Amarillo, Texas, to live with her daughter and her family.

Sharron often enjoyed tarot card readings and other spiritual practices, such as astrology and numerology. If she wasn’t doing spiritual readings, you could find her deep in a romance novel. Later in life, she cherished time with her children and grandchildren and helped her daughter cook for the family. Sharron also enjoyed TV shows and movies, particularly with her loved ones.

Sharron was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Mark Vaughn and Randy Vaughn; and her husband, Noah Henson.

Her survivors include her daughter, Melinda King; son, John Stewart; grandchildren, Chastity Stewart, Rose King, and Sarah Stewart; and brother, Brent Vaughn.
