Hope Elizabeth Weingart, 82, of Amarillo, passed away on June 3, 2025. She was born in Berwyn, Illinois on December 29, 1942, to Roland and Marion (Hippert) Hosman.

Hope was very connected to the first residents of historic Riverside, Illinois and was very proud of this. She resided there until she attended college in Fargo, North Dakota. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband Bernard Weingart. Hope was a volunteer at BSA and hospice. She enjoyed gardening. Hope was passionate about rescuing dogs, her beloved Lila Rose, Annie, Stella and Peep.

She will be remembered by her son, Robert Weingart; daughter, Laura Weingart Wray, and grandchildren Avi Weingart, Keely Wray, Colette Wray, Liam Wray, and Scarlett Wray.
