Ignacio Tenorio Laguana, 66, of Amarillo, passed away April 6, 2023. He was born July 26, 1956, in Guam to Agustin and Ramona (Tenorio) Laguana.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00, Friday, April 21, 2023, at Caprock Baptist Church, 3627 SE 29th Ave. in Amarillo.
Ignacio was a family man; he loved his grandsons so much. Being a grandfather gave new meaning to his life. Ignacio was a man that would give someone the shirt off his back. He was always there for anyone that needed his help. Ignacio was known to be a strong man who never complained. He was a hard worker, and very strong-minded.
He loved teaching Kung Fu to the entire neighborhood in Carson California; especially to ones who needed to learn how to defend themselves. He loved to go fishing. One of his favorite fish to catch with his son was halibut. Ignacio loved working on cars and cruising around California.
One of the treasured events in his life was when he was reunited with his son Brian after many years apart. He was thrilled with the birth of his four grandsons: Xander, Kingston, Oshen and Braven. His family will carry on his memories and share his life with future generations so that he will always be remembered and cherished.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Agustin I. and Ramona T. Laguana; his siblings, Joaquin T. Laguana, Galo T. Laguana, Rosa T. S. Breslin, Vicente T. Laguana, Benjamin T. Laguana, and Teresita L. Gloynes.
He will live on in the memories of his son, Brian Kekua, his grandsons, Xander, Kingston, Oshen and Braven; his siblings, Maria L. Sievers, and Jose T. Laguana, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
