Jackson Knight Bowman Blackmon was born Wednesday, March 29, 2023, in Amarillo to Angel Varner and Sean Osborne.

“‘Pooter’ was so full of life. It didn’t matter what kind of day you were having, all you had to do was look at his big eyes that shine so bright. He had a smile that would melt your heart, and “just like that,” your worries would just go away, even if for that moment.”

During his short life here on Earth, he touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. His life was a brief gift to us that will live on in our hearts forever.

He was greeted in heaven by his great-grandparents, Jerry Etheredge, Penny Etheredge, and Vicki Knouse; and his great-great grandparents, Emma Tilly Elliott, Rufus Bill Elliott, R.L. and Judy Boyett.

Jackson is survived by his parents; his paternal grandparents, Cindy and Christopher Blackmon; his maternal grandparents, Tamika and Clint Keese and Brett and Christina Varner; paternal great-grandparents, Sandra Elliott and Tony Willson, and his maternal great-grandmother, Melody Parker; his uncle, Gabriel Varner; aunt, Alyssa Keese, and great-aunt and uncle, Aaron Varner and Lisa Varner.
