James Dante Alderson Sr.

James Dante Alderson Sr. 56 of Benbrook, TX passed away on August 26th, 2020. On that day, the world lost a beautiful light.

He was born in Hampton, Virginia on January 20, 1964. Although he was born in Virginia, he traveled most of his life with a military family and later he proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.

James loved to laugh, was always happy and loved his family with his whole heart, but was always ready to protect those he cared for at all costs.

James left behind many who will miss him desperately.

He is survived by his wife Lisa, who says he was her one true love; children, James Alderson Jr. and wife Michelle, Amanda (Alderson) and Joshua Hall, Scott Alderson and wife Haylie, and Steven Alderson and fiance’ Tiffany; two stepdaughters, Sara McKaig and husband Josh, and Stacie Carmon; his parents Jerry and Patricia Alderson, and his siblings, Julia, Tracy and Andrew. Going to miss my big brother. I tried my best to annoy you growing up. Always following you around trying to be a part of everything you did. Moving around growing up, you were one of the constants in my life. Getting in trouble together and you protecting me at every turn. And of course tormenting me along the way, but only you were allowed to do that!
I know family meant everything to you. Sleep well brother.

He was the sweetest most loving man, my one true love, my husband. How am I supposed to go on without seeing your smiling face, hearing your silly laugh, listen to you TRY to sing or dance, and most importantly here you 20 times a day say I love you? I miss you so much my love ?
    Always and Forever,
    Lisa Alderson
