James Earl Roybal Jr. passed away peacefully in his home in Amarillo, Texas on Monday, October 16, 2023. He was born on July 7, 1968.

James was a very hard worker, mechanic, and jack of all trades. There was nothing that he couldn’t do. James never met anyone that did not like him. He always had a smile on his face and could joke around with everyone. He loved his family. He loved everybody and everybody loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father James Earl Roybal, Sr.

He is survived by his mother Juanita Roybal; his daughter Desaree Fuentes and husband David; two grandkids David James and Lorelai Fuentes; his girlfriend Debra Lamberson; two brothers Tommy Roybal and wife Faith, and Steve Roybal and wife Carol; his sister Linda Roybal; nieces Sonya, Chelsey, Marisol Roybal, Annie and Bella; nephews Matthew, and Steve Roybal, Jr., and Ryan and Issac, all from Ennis, Texas, and then numerous very special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
